Very cheap and doesn’t actually produce UV-C, has a small UV-A output but it’s not only very weak but for some reason they put a normal flashlight in there as well that completely negates the UV effect.

Thank you for your feedback, however you are completely mistaken. The flashlight certainly does produce UV-C light, which you can verify seeing it work on the 254nm wavelenght UV active TLC testing card. It does not produce UV-A, which you can verify by comparing it with any blacklight. UV-A also has a purple tint, while UV-C has a light blue tint. It is also not very weak, it is actually strong enough for work with TLC even without complete darkness. As for the normal flashlight, sure, it does not work simultanously with the UV-C bulb, it’s just an additional feature. And last but not least, indeed it is very affordable, which we consider an advantage – we could sell more expensive lights, however we do not expect most of our customers to appreciate that.
